THE WOODLANDS, Texas--For nearly 12 years, The Secret Service, Cleaning Servicehas been keeping both commercial and residential properties looking clean and spotless in The Woodlands area. From 400 square feet to 90000 square feet, the local cleaning business has seen it all.
When the owner of the company, Brian Domingue, had a cleaning job right out of college, he had no intentions of turning it into a lasting career. However, when he moved to The Woodlands with his wife, Domingue was trying to figure out the career he wanted to pursue.
“I kept thinking about that cleaning job and how much I loved it,” said Domingue. “I loved the bidding, and I loved winning the clients.”
In 2002, Domingue decided to start his own cleaning service. At the beginning, he did not have a staff and would often work from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., scrubbing toilets and floors by himself. As the business grew, Domingue was able to hire more people. He then built his cleaning service from the ground up based from his hand-on experience and hard work he put in to make the company a success. He constructed business standards and outlined a list of services for his clients, while maintaining the importance of excellent customer service.
From the beginning, The Secret Service, Cleaning Service has always made sure that both clients and employees are treated with the upmost respect, and that clients receive the same cleaning crew every time.
“This comes from starting from where I started,” said Domingue. “I realized how important it was that the same person was at the house every time. When you send the same people, they become more efficient and more effective because they know the house.”
Domingue also makes sure that he can contact every client directly. He is involved in every account, can always be reached by phone, e-mail or text, and keeps in direct contact with all of his staff.
Commercial janitorial is the company’s top revenue, but there are many different services available for residential homes. The Secret Service, Cleaning Service keeps homes looking pristine with maid services, window cleanings, power washing, shower stall glass cleanings, lexan restoration, carpet cleaning, grout cleaning, and trash pick-up. The company also gets homes ready for move-ins and move-outs.
When someone is interested in using Secret Service Cleaning, they do not have to worry about spending a lot of money on initial fees.
“A lot of maid services charge a hefty initial cleaning fee,” said Domingue. When you hire them, you have to start with a spring cleaning at your house which ranges depending on the size of the house, and we don’t do that.”
Domingue does not do quotes over the phone because he understands that each house is unique and that each client has different cleaning needs. Once a site visit has been made, The Secret Service, Cleaning Service gives the client a quote that they will stand behind. The company even goes above and beyond by trying to accommodate to the homeowner’s needs and taking their schedule into consideration.
The Secret Service, Cleaning Service cleans commercial and residential properties, but the company also treats customers and staff with the highest amount of respect while leaving homes and businesses spotless.
“I consider every person who works under me just as valuable as the clients we serve,” said Domingue. “When they are treated well, it will show in their work.”
Although he graduated with degree in Journalism, it is apparent that Domingue truly has a passion for the cleaning business.
“I love what I do,” said Domingue. “When you scrub toilets for a living, you can't take things too seriously.”
