How do I get a wine stain out of the carpet? 

  1. Put some salt on the stain as quickly as possible to soak up the spillage. ...
  2. Blot the area you have spilled the red wine again with a new paper towel dampened with water. ...
  3. Use Vanish Carpet & Upholstery spray as soon as possible to remove the remaining stain.
