Very interestingly we kept on learning and inspired to write this 4 paragraph essay to real world experience of our cleaning service orientation to become the next generation 'Green Cleaning Partner' of the globe.

How being green cleaning certified status helps our company is by far the last but not least conclusion of this certification. In this world dynamism is key to survive and prosper or else to be absorbed and liquidated in the worst case scenario. The following vital aspects underline the beneficial values our company will be enchanted with green cleaning certification.

    1. Adaptation to changes and use of acceptable standards and practices - the world acknowledges harmless agents of cleaning - green cleaning - so does our company take this movement seriously to continue bargaining vendor business or competitive advantages.

    2. Environmental Protection - To protect all creatures of the environment our company should take part actively by implementing green cleaning agents and thereby promote the safety of the society at large.

    3. Economic Advantages - Our company can save tens of thousands dollars incurred by moving forward with the green cleaning use of methods and eliminate consequential risks of business practices - financial claims due to hazardous substance and practices.

    4. Awareness Creation - We started already intense in-house training of green cleaning practices and induce our clients and stakeholders the facets and benefits of green services. If tens of thousands of green cleaning partners promote this slogan and professional green development with IJCSA; the whole concerted effort would be huge enough to finally create an eco-friendly climate and or habitat for all.

    5. Green Brands - Wow! you can imagine being certified with green cleaning takes you the hall of fame or "green brands" and stakeholders rushing to you to make business and our company prosper so do people and stakeholders of the company.

Since we entered the COVID 19 pandemic, more cleaning businesses have implemented steps in staying safe as well as keeping their customers safe. Using green cleaning products is important for your business. Before servicing my residential clients I ask them are there any cleaning products they are allergic too. I am very careful which stores I purchase my cleaning items. I usually purchase environmentally items online stores that sell only organically green products. Once I started replacing chemical cleaners with green cleaners my business started to thrive. More and more customers were pleased with the smell which wasn't harmful to them and their pets. I now use essential oils mixed in with my solutions. I train my employees to use green cleaners. I teach my team appropriate cleaning procedures. Training includes issues relating to chemical and equipment safety. This is the first thing commercial businesses ask what type of products do you use. Sometimes that will determine if they want your service or not. It's all about introducing the right policies and procedures on how to clean for health and the environment.

Janitors and cleaning staff are an important part of our daily life. This aspect of operations is very easy to go unnoticed. Most of us will show up to a business and never think of what goes on behind the scenes to make it possible to keep an establishment clean and operational on a daily basis.

Janitors can be responsible for a number of responsibilities. Most of us can think of the main job duties very easily. These may include sweeping and mopping, changing trash, or cleaning and dusting. However, it is normally much more than that. Janitors often times have an extensive working knowledge of the entire building and what is needed to keep it operational and safe. This may include operating alarm systems, safety patrolling, operating of building machinery including hot water systems, and heating and cooling systems.

One place to find a skilled directory of certified Janitors would be on the International Janitorial Cleaning Association website. It can be found at  International Janitorial Cleaning Services Association - Janitorial Services Directory (ijcsa.org) The businesses listed with the I.J.C.S.A have all been certified through industry accepted training covering all aspects of janitorial services and safety procedures. Members of IJCSA have access to the latest in industry information including updated OSHA standards and guidelines.

It's a primary responsibility for cleaning employees to understand and follow OSHA bloodborne pathogens training for their own safety. Any cleaning staff that handles sharps bins, biohazard waste, or other potentially contaminated objects should know how to protect themselves against exposure.

Fundamental things for cleaning teams to remember should include exposure determination, exposure control plans, the effectiveness of personal protective equipment, what to do in the event of exposure, and medical and reporting follow-up after exposure.

It's also critical for your cleaning teams to understand symptoms of bloodborne pathogen illnesses so they can determine if medical attention is required. Common exposure illnesses included HIV and Hepatitis.

Your medical clients also want the reassurance that your cleaning teams have been properly trained in handling contaminated material. It may sound like a small thing, but clients will want to know that your employees are as educated as their own when it comes to bloodborne pathogens, especially if the client is a medical clinic or doctor’s office.

    DISINFECTING CORONAVIRUS/HIV/Hepatitis B./Hepatitis C./Aids/Influenzas

We use CDC approved and EPA registered disinfectants with a broad spectrum kill claim. They are safe and food grade. All infected materials are cleaned, disinfected, and properly disposed of. Employees are fully encapsulated in personal protective equipment (PPE).

Respirator masks and face shields are worn at all times by our certified cleanup technicians. We adhere to a stringent coronavirus demobilization process for our equipment, trucks, and employees.

Disease outbreak is an extremely serious situation and we understand that the health and safety of you, your family, and employees are on the line. Don’t take any chances; call in the professionals. See our most recent posts for additional frequently asked questions on disinfecting coronavirus in your place of business or home.

WE CARE ABOUT THE SAFETY OF YOU, YOUR EMPLOYEES, YOUR BUSINESS, AND YOUR COMMUNITY

When selecting a company to provide coronavirus, mold, asbestos, microorganism remediation and disinfection services, it is imperative that you select a company, like EDA Inc., that is OSHA compliant and certified and follows all CDC guidance regarding coronavirus.

General Duty Clause, 29 USC 654, section 5(a)(1) requires that employers protect their employees from recognized hazards.

“Each employer shall furnish to each of his employees’ employment and a place of employment which are free from recognized hazards that are causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees.”

Additionally, the coronavirus is listed as a serious health hazard and must be recorded as an occupational illness in 29 CFR 1904.5(b)(2). This means that if an employee contracts COVID-19 from another employee or through occupational exposure on a cleaning job you asked him to do, the illness is recordable on the OSHA log for that business. If it results in job restriction, days away or fatality, this is also required to be recorded. If an employer chooses to ignore or not record that incident the employer will be held responsible. If you have a cleaning company not certified or licensed in biohazard “virus” cleanup and have not done the due diligence to vet that company it is the employers’ responsibility. Insurance companies are demanding all employers find reputable cleaning companies certified in the biohazard cleanup of “viruses”. Ultimately the employer did what they could, to help stop the spread and protect their employees and by doing so protect themselves their company and their assets.

There is a requirement 29 CFR 1904.5(b)(2). to contact OSHA to actually report infections or hospitalization if it is from Coronavirus. Now more than ever if there is an infection, an OSHA and insurance investigation would follow and could result in a fine if the company did not take the necessary measures “ Disinfection practices and record keeping.” to  curb the spread. A lawyer will not be far behind. Protect your assets by implementing the steps necessary to curb the spread.
