As our society becomes increasingly aware of the importance of sustainability and environmental responsibility, integrating a green cleaning service program into our business is not just a choice but a necessity. We recognize that traditional cleaning products often contain harmful chemicals that can adversely affect human health andthe environment. Therefore, our commitment to implementing a green cleaning program stems from our desire to prioritize the well-being of our customers, employees, and the planet.

To achieve this, we plan to transition to eco-friendly cleaning products that are certified as safe for both people and the environment. These products are typically derived from natural, renewable resources and are biodegradable, minimizing their impact on ecosystems. Additionally, we will invest in equipment and practices that promote efficiency and reduce waste, such as microfiber cleaning cloths and low-energy consumption appliances. Adopting a green cleaning service program reduces our carbon footprint and provides our clients with a healthier and more sustainable cleaning.

In the cleaning industry, more than ever, employees are being exposed to bloodborne pathogens. While cleaning a restroom at a health clinic, school, or a commercial building. People are gross, it's a public restroom and don't care how they leave it...  One doesn't think twice about being exposed or not. Especially, when it becomes a daily routine.

Bloodborne pathogens training empowers employees to keep themselves healthy and safe when in the presence of potentially infectious items, surfaces or other exposures. The more knowledgeable a custodial team is, the less they will put themselves in potentially dangerous or harmful situations, resulting in fewer incidents or exposures.

Employees who have been educated on how to handle exposures and what to do in certain scenarios will be more confident in their roles. Confident employees are happier employees and job satisfaction is key to lowering employee turnover.

Customer Service.   It seems simple enough, however it is truly the cornerstone of any companies success.   Let us focus on the two words Customer and Service.

Customer.   No longer is a customer just a person from whom a company receives money.  A customer is a client, a reference, a valued resource, and an amazing source of potentially FREE promotion.  A customer is an individual or busisness with whom a great relationship has been cultivated.  Time, dedication, integrity, and trust has been used and/or established.  Respect has been cultivated and earned.   The customer has the potential to, in this social media and social media influencer culture, to respond to the world at large favorably.

Service.   To actively serve.  When one serves the customer, it is an opportunity to help the client/customer create an atmosphere and enviroment that helps to promote their business venture.  To serve the customer is the help alleviate stress and worries and replace them with confidence and excitement.  To serve the customer is to show them THEY are a priority and worth time.

A clean and sanitized environment is important for many reasons. Utilizing a professional cleaning service ensures your environment is being cleaned efficiently as well as thoroughly.  Delegating cleaning duties to a professional cleaning service frees up time allowing more attention or focus on other tasks.

Professional cleaners have the training and expertise needed to handle situations where non cleaners lack the knowledge of how to clean efficiently.   Knowledge of effective cleaning methods, having access to appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment, and established consistent procedures results in a high quality clean in less time that it would take for a non cleaner to do.

An experienced cleaner has the knowledge and training needed to approach situations such as stains, grease, scaling and many other obstacles.

A professional service relieves you of the stress of having to do it yourself when you are on busy schedule.  There are many benefits having cleaning service will help in your daily tasks. Take a long break or lunch. Your cleaning service can handle the mess.  Are you in need of an experienced and professional cleaning service?

Every personal in the cleaning industry should be aware of Bloodborne pathogens. Educating yourself about potential hazardous you can be exposed in the workplace area is greatly needed. Employees can avoid a life-threatening disease by understanding what bloodborne pathogens are and following OSHA safety guidelines.  Bloodborne pathogens are pathogenic microorganisms that are present in human blood and can be cause disease in humans. Employees must practice utilizing personal protective equipment and read any safety labels on any chemicals used.  Cleaning employee’s might be responsible for cleaning up bodily fluids such as blood and have to be aware of the safety precautions one must make to avoid hazardous diseases and cross contamination. Cleaning Employee’s, play an important role in preventing or reducing contact with Bloodborne pathogens to others as well as themselves. They are held responsible for proving a safe, clean, and healthy environment.

Employees responsible for throwing out trash, cleaning up body fluid, handling laundry are exposed to potential disease that can be life threatening. Some of the disease that employees are exposed to is Hepatitis B virus and HIV/AIDS. Employees can be exposed to infectious materials when the blood borne pathogens comes in contact with an employee’s mucus membrane such as the mouth, nose, and open cuts. Employees should follow universal precautions such as wearing mask, gloves, and handling any body fluids as potentially infectious to minimize the risk of being exposed to any Bloodborne pathogens. Employee’s must be aware that they must not smoke, eat, drink, or apply lip balm in areas in which there are possible Bloodborne Pathogens to avoid exposure.

It is very important that Employee’s are educated on how to properly decontaminate an area by using the appropriate disincentive cleaner and how to properly label items that might be harmful to themselves and others. If an employee is exposed to any Bloodborne pathogen they must immediately notify a supervisor and their health care provider. Business owners should train and educate their employees on following OSHA blood borne pathogen safety precautions and provide a written OSHA exposure control plan.

As a Surgical Technologist I am familiar with OSHA standards on BBP but as a new owner/operator of a Medical cleaning company I see the importance of all my employees are trained on how to stay safe around medical waste.

Hand hygiene is the most important and easiest way to stay safe.Wearing PPE can seem unnecessary but all these standards keeps everyone safe from exposure from viruses, bacteria and diseases.

It is important to lead by example and follow the training to minimize exposure.
