October is the time of year when cardboard gravestones pop up on front lawns and paper skeletons dance on porches, but one man hopes to spend his time year-round in cemeteries.

Cleaning and maintaining gravestones gives Mark Henderson a chance to enjoy history while offering a hard-to-find service.

At least, four labourers died on Sunday when they stepped down for cleaning an underground compost tank of a paper factory at the Model Town Humak in the jurisdiction of the Sihala Police Station.

Two other labourers were rescued, but their condition is stated to be critical.

According to information from the Sihala Police as well as people living around, labourers were assigned the task to clean the compost tank of the paper factory, in which raw material was soaked in chemicals for turning it into thick paste used for paper-making.

According to information available from the Sihala Police Station, four labourers, who lost their lives, were identified as Naeem Shehzad, Ayaz Gul, Shahid Farooq and Wasim. Police till filing of this report could not make the names of the two survivors available.

This weekend after 87 students and four teachers came down with flu symptoms.

Alcott Elementary School principal Lawrence Tunks said the students and teachers were either absent Friday or left early after becoming ill.

The student population at the school is about 300, so the number of illnesses...

When officers got to the bank, two men who worked on the cleaning crew were leaving the building after accidentally hitting the alarm button while working.

When the officers did a quick background check the found one of the men, Nathan Ketterman, 53, of Akron, had a felony probation violation on a drunk driving arrest through the Carter County Sheriff's Office in Tennesee.

(KATV) Searcy - A Searcy man was shot and killed killed at work, but there are no witnesses. 24-year old Zachary Mitchell was part of the janitorial staff at a dialysis office at 3210 Langley.

Police don't have a motive or strong leads right now. This is the first murder in the city since January of 2008.

Overlooking U.S. 67/167 the Nephrology Associates dialysis facility sits in a dead end street. It's where 24-year old Zachary Mitchell worked as a janitor.

Sunday night two of Mitchell's friends reportedly stopped by to see him but he didn't answer the door. Terri Lee with the Searcy Police Department says, "They could see inside that he was lying on the floor with a gun shot wound."

MANILA, Philippines - A Philippine janitorial services company is now targeting to hit P1 billion in profits in the next two years.

Edilberto B. Bravo, chairman at Facilities Managers Inc. (FMI), said there is increased pressure from companies to be more cost-efficient and as a result, these are contracting out services to specialists like themselves.

FMI holds the Philippine master franchise of US-based The Service Master Co. This year FMI expects earnings to reach between P550 million and P600 million.

A study released in September 2010 regarding cleanliness and kitchen floors may have more sweeping ramifications than anticipated when it comes to protecting human health, especially in facilities such as corrections buildings that have large populations living in relatively small quarters. Leeds Metropolitan University Faculty of Health Department, located just outside of London, England, conducted the study.

Philadelphia (CNN) -- At first, a Philadelphia landlord said, he thought one of his tenants was attempting to conceal a dog after finding a dog dish in the basement of his apartment building.

But on a return trip to the basement Saturday, Turgut Gozleveli found something much more sinister: four mentally disabled people held captive, including one man chained to a radiator.
