I think I can speak for most of the members & potential customers here in this forum when I say Customer Service out here is on life support. 99% of us in this industry travels from job to job and in our travels we engage with quite a few people on day to day bases. I recall one particular over night job in a remote location where there were only fast food restaurants. Five that sat right across the street from each other. Would you believe that not just one but all five were on a scale from 1-10 on crappy service, neither would make the scale. One saw us walking towards the restaurant and literally ran towards the door to lock it because they were closing in (15mins). The other refuse to let us in because she was short staffed even after we agreed to wait. The other 3 restaurants was similar experiences, and no we did not get anything to eat from all 5. We settled for gas station chips and sodas. The next morning I was on a mission to see all 5 managers and 4 out of 5 were just as bad as the staff the night before. The last manager I literally thought she was gonna cry because of our experience with her staff (The one who locked the door) she made it rain free gift certificates and free breakfast too, AND BOOM we were back on board and ate in the their dining room. The night before we wanted to set fire to it. LOL

As I watch the training video for the customer service certification for IJCSA I ask myself how could we get this message out to the world because people needs to understand that customers not only frequent our businesses because of the great savings but also equally return for the awesome customer service they received and we all know word of mouth can make you or break you. Maybe one day someone will invent a customer service spray or lotion because its a lot of businesses that need the bottle sitting right beside the hand sanitizer. This is an awesome training tool that contains a powerful message. Remember #SaveCustomerService

It is imperative that any person in the cleaning industry is aware of the potential risk you face. You can be exposed to bodily fluids at any given time, and it is important that you as the cleaner knows the proper precautions and procedures to take when a situation occurs. You as the cleaner and any other potential employees should always maintain the proper training and regulations that are in place to protect not only you, but your staff and others.

Bloodborne pathogens are present in human blood and can cause disease in humans. These pathogens include but are not limited to, Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) and Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) (associated with AIDS). It is imperative that any employee uses the proper universal precautions to minimize the risk of infection. Always follow the proper practices that are set in place. Always assume that all bodily fluids are contaminated with bloodborne pathogens. Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment such as, gloves, glasses, and any other PPE needed to protect yourself and others. Also use the appropriate disinfectants to clean the area or surfaces that were contaminated.

As explained in the beginning you can be potentially exposed to bloodborne pathogens at any given time during a clean. If this incident occurs, it is important that you follow the proper steps in taking care of this matter. Immediately notify a supervisor in charge to report the incident. The exposed person needs to immediately notify their healthcare provider and be properly treated. If you or a supervisor are unaware of the proper protocol refer to the OSHA handbook, website or phone number. Any employer should always have an OSHA exposure control plan in place.

The education on Blood borne pathogens is for your safety and those around you. These pathogens we want to avoid is Hepatitis B virus (HBV) and Human Immunodeficiency virus (HIV) which is also associated with AIDS.

In preventing this infectious spread there are guidelines and universal precautions set in place. We want to treat all bodily fluid potentially contagious and to treat it as such, before proceeding to the clean up. Preparing for the clean includes the correct cleaner, protective gear like gloves, mask and protective clothing.

Ensuring the health and safety of yourself and others start with proper education from the managers to the staff. Following the universal code, precautionary procedures, and written exposure plan regularly ensures our safety. These guidelines will definitely make your day a whole lot better knowing your safe!

Great customer service begins with providing a service and ends with delivering a proven system. Additionally, throughout the process, integrity, trust, and expertise are also characteristics that should be experienced by the customer. Great customer service is understanding and knowing, what is important to the customer. There should not be an expectation of providing great customer service, it is mandatory! In the cleaning industry, the clients expect trust and reliability. Cleaning companies that are part of IJCSA are entrusted with providing great customer service because of the community, networking and available training provided by the IJCSA Association.

Cleaning companies in the IJCSA network take cleaning serious by understanding that availability, courtesy, consistency, accuracy, and responsiveness is what our clients expect. IJCSA ensures each cleaning company understands that our customers come first in addition to what is entailed in delivering great customer service. Without a strong customer service program, it will be difficult to retain great customers.

Cleaning a solid surface involves wiping away dirt, debris and any microorganisms that you happen to catch. The natural agent typically won't kill the germs on your surfaces as well.Disinfecting includes the use of chemicals to kill the germs but may not get rid of all the dirt and grime left behind. - wickfloormachine.com

Chemical cleaners are generally more efficient than natural cleaners-you will always want a product that's going to complete the task fast keeping your pace fast and steady and reliable.

Natural products can remove germs from a surface but don't kill 99.999% like some chemical cleaners do. When it comes down to natural chemicals the right frame of mind is the task completion by reducing air and water pollutants and helping to fight ozone depletion and climate change.

Many regular chemicals can irritate the eyes or throat, and cause headaches and other health problems-- you will definitely need PPE Gear such as :Gloves, body suits, masks, goggles and slip resistant work shoes.

With proper PPE on you can start working confident with the advantage in mind that these products will play an essential part in people's daily lives by removing soils, germs, and other contaminants to help prevent the spread of infectious disease and control allergens, such as dust or mold. --www.
