Green Cleaning Certified will benefit me as an individual by not only protecting me but also by protecting my family as well. When someone uses harmful chemicals they aren't the only ones that get affected. They can also bring those harmful chemicals home on their clothes which then lead to the possibility of their family also being at risk of exposure to those chemicals.

It will also benefit me by being able to promote by business to other eco friendly companies that I'm Certified and capable of using healthy, natural, environmentally friendly products and services to clean their home or business.

Not only does it benefit me but it will also benefit my company and the employees that work for me. By using healthy natural ingredients in our products it will cut down on liability cost. By not exposing my employees to the harmful chemicals it will no longer put them at risk.

It will also protect my community and any other occupants that might live or work in the buildings that I clean by not exposing them to harmful chemicals and substances. Which can linger around for days after products are used.

And finally it will give me the satisfaction that I'm doing my part the hehelp save the environment and you can do you part to by going to https://www.ijcsa.org/Green-Cleaning-Services and finding a Green Cleaning Certified company that can help you do your part as well.

The environment is a place where humans, animals and plants live, it plays a role in our everday life. Its our responsibility to take care of it and its habitats. We need fresh air to breathe, so we have to find ways to keep the environment clean. When its not clean we are at risk of health issues, contaimentated food, and many other bad conditions.

Keeping the environment clean is very important. Pollution of our water and the mass growth of litter are two main causes of our environment being unclean.

Green cleaning can help us in our everyday lives. By becoming eco-friendly we can plant tree that help us breathe, they will help in controlling pollution in the air. Going green can put us on the path of good health. We should teach people why they should green clean. we should show others why we shouldn't litter. Restore the waterway by using things that are eco-friendly.

We should keep the environment green and clean so we can live a smell-free and a disease free life.

To know how to implement something, one must know what it is they are implementing. Green cleaning is not Dawn dish soap with lavender scent nor Fabuloso with lemon. It is from the earth for the earth. That includes minimal to no waste, biodegradable products and using glass over plastic.

We use micro fiber towels along with steam to clean. One of the best decisions I have personally made. The steam sanitizes and cleans the toughest stains on multiple surfaces. Unlike harsh chemicals you have that nearly chock you in the bathroom.

The training at IJCSA is well taught to improve a company's attention to customer service. Greeting a new or existing client with a hand shake and eye contact; establishes solid welcome. It does not take but seconds to smile and greet a customer with confidence. As a Member of IJCSA Team , it is critical to always have the customers best interest at heart.

Our company ensures that each client is completely satisfied with our service/s. We have taken and implement the SEC acronym. We smile as we approach every customer; we establish eye contact to reaffirm our visual communication and finally we establish a positive welcoming comment. Keep in mind that your organization/company is dependent of your staff ability to communicate to your clients. I am please to have added this curriculum into our team.

    Thank You, Joe

There are many reasons to switch to green cleaning proucts. Our company makes and manufatures dietary supplements and health products. It is extremely important to us that our facility and machines being used in the production process are both clean and non hazardess. By switching to green cleaning products we can insure everything is not only clean but isn't going to possibly cross contaminate hazards into our products.

It's also great for the environment. All cleaning products eventually end up back into the environment on some level. Causing all sorts of issues. By switching to green cleaning products this will help reduce that exposure to our environment.

How You Can Implement Medical Cleaning Practices Into Other Residential & Commercial Cleaning Situations

Medical cleaning practices can and should be adopted by both residential and commercial cleaning companies.  Having a standardized why of conducting business operations make it easier to identify when issues occur that need addressing.  If or when a change needs to be made it is easier to make one change than to figure the individual nuance of each individual specialist, team, or group.

A residential or commercial cleaning company does not want to knowingly become a contributor to the spread of infectious matter.  This can occur by not sanitizing or disinfecting while cleaning.  Also, by not disinfecting equipment and/or materials used to clean (mop heads, mop/broom handles, bucket, caddy, etc.)

Following specific guidelines for handing biohazardous material and trash removal.  All staff needs to be trained and very familiar with the proper way to handle biohazardous material (blood, urine, feces, vomit, etc)

Medical, Residential, and Commercial cleaning companies need to be aware that staff members may be allergic to certain materials (latex, hand sanitizer, or certain soaps or detergents.

    1.     Standardization of procedures:

    a.      Require cleaning specialist to wear personal protective equipment (such as, gloves and non-slip/skid shoes).  Have eye goggles, face mask, and gown available on the cart. (Free to employee)

    b.     Method of cleaning will differ because generally with Medical cleaning an individual has a specific area, rooms or floor to be responsible.  Commercial and residential cleaners can vary from individual to team to zone to specialty cleaners, but the way they clean/operate can be standardized

    2.     Infection control:

    a.      Medical, Residential and Commercial cleaning specialist should all follow the same procedures when comes to infection control.

    b.     All restrooms, bathrooms should be disinfected during each site visit.  The disinfecting should follow the procedures listed on the container for the dilution ratio, the amount time before drying, and where not to use.

    c.      In all kitchens, breakrooms, and lounges the following should be disinfected, when possible, flooring, outside of the microwave, refrigerator, cabinet doors, cabinet draws, toaster, countertops, and light switches.

    d.     Also, disinfecting equipment and/or materials used to clean (mop heads, mop/broom handles, bucket, caddy, etc.)

    3.     Medical, Residential, and Commercial need to know how to handle and dispose of biohazardous materials.  Biohazardous materials should only be disposed in specific container marked/labeled as such.  In addition, all staff need to know and be able to administer the necessary steps in case of a SHARP puncture or cut of the skin or splash to face, eyes, nose or mouth. Follow the following steps:

    a.      Wash needle-stick and cuts with thoroughly with soap and water.

    b.     Flush splashes to the nose, mouth, or skin with water.

    c.      Irrigate eyes with clean water, saline, or sterile irrigates.

    d.     Immediately, report the incident to your supervisor.

    e.      Seek medical treatment immediately.

    4.     Medical, Residential, and Commercial cleaning companies need to provide sensitive to their staffs needs, by providing alternatives, such as:

    a.      Nitrile instead of latex gloves

    b.     Gloves with or without powder

    c.      Sanitizer instead of soap or vice versa

By implementing processes, the cleaning industry worldwide can make a tremendous impact on reducing healthcare, business, and residential related transfer of infectious matter.
