Green Cleaning Techs knows that there is a benefit to having a Green Cleaning Program that can be implemented into all residential and commercial cleaning regimes.

Traditionally, cleaning involves lots of chemicals. Whether it’s the toilet bowl cleaner you squirt around the rim, or the bleach cleaner you use to sanitize the kitchen counter tops, you’re putting all sorts of chemicals into your air and living space.  Many of them are toxic, and very few of them are safe to touch or breathe without gloves or a mask.

Many health conscience individual’s and employers are starting to awaken to the many benefits a green cleaning protocol provides for their employees, families, as well as for their pets.  When chemicals are used in the workplace or home, they leave toxic fumes in the air contaminating the ventilation system and rakes havoc on our ecosystem.

In addition to, residue left on floors and counter tops that can irritate the skin, eyes, nose, and throat of those in the area.  Not to mention the other all-purpose commercial and residential cleaning products that have ammonia, and ethylene glycol that can be highly poisonous to both humans and animals if swallowed.  Harmful VOCs should not be part of any cleaning regimen.

In contrast to that of chemicals, all-natural products will have an immediate positive effect on the air, the environment, and the user.  By using biodegradable products, natural cleaners, essential oils, and other green cleaning alternative methods, there shouldn’t be any reason anyone or company should be persuaded into using harmful volatile organic compound (VOC) producing cleaning agents.  If green cleaning is the method of choice for cleaning your office or home look no further than https://www.ijcsa.org/Green-Cleaning-Services.

How important are Janitors & Janitorial Staff to our daily lives?

First, we must define a Janitor and the things they contribute on a daily bases:

A janitor, custodian, porter, cleaner or caretaker is a person who cleans and maintains buildings such as hospitals, schools, and residential accommodation. Janitors' primary responsibility is as a cleaner. In some cases, they will also carry out maintenance and security duties. A similar position, but usually with more managerial duties and not including cleaning, is occupied by building superintendents in the United States and School Site Managers in schools in the United Kingdom.

Cleaning is the most outsourced service for business. Janitors as well as Janitorial staff keep the appearance and the cleanliness of there business up to part inside and out. The task they tactical everyday is unmatched because they walk into the unknown every day. When it comes to cleaning there is a lot of attention to detail, safety precautions, preventing the spread of germs etc……

A clean facility boost company moral, knowing they that they work in a clean environment and that their space is cleaned by trained janitorial staff.  Janitorial & Commercial cleaning is a vital entity within itself because one thing we all know, it must be done. When you have trained professional that take pride in their work, you must be grateful that Janitors & Janitorial staff even exist.

Its a top priority in the cleaning field that all Staff and Employees understand Bloodborne Pathogens and the measures of safety and precautions taken in order to protect themselves against any virus or disease they can contract if they don't follow the necessary guidelines.

Bloodborne Pathogens are easily transferred to a person. Proper steps must be taken to prevent the spread of diseases or viruses such as AIDS, HPV, Hepatitis and corona virus. Wearing the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as Gloves and protective eye wear reduces the risk of exposure. Also implementing such standards as No eating, drinking, smoking or applying lip balm in areas that you may have exposure to blood or other bodily fluids helps minimize the risk. After handling and cleaning hazardous materials proper disposal is a key factor. You must follow al bio-hazard guidelines so you don't come in contact or potentially put someone else at risk.                                                                                                                            If your properly equip your Employees and Staff with the knowledge and training as required by IJCSA & OSHA then practicing proper steps will provide a safe work environment and prevent contamination for everyone involved.

Cleaning employees and staff should understand the importance of knowing about bloodborne pathogens because of the threat of becoming infected with Coronavirus, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)...etc.  This is possible when dealing with blood contaminated with these disease causing microorganisms. Careless handling of sharps, and other other potentially infectious material (OPIM) can lead to infection. OSHA standards provide guidelines to help employees prevent contamination.

Knowing that bloodborne pathogens exist and practicing safety precautions such as wearing and using the appropriate PPE will help protect the employee and others.

Knowing about vaccination for HBV, using PPE, and employer training will provide a safer working environment for EVERYBODY!
