I haven't truly used any Mold cleaning products, but when I was working at a cleaning company they told us to use Bleach on the areas and scrub with a Stone Pruice Bar. It worked and got the mold off from what I see, but they only thing is we wasn't trained or certified on how to clean properly when there is mold.

A properly cleaned healthcare facility is the first line of defense when fighting viruses and disease.  Many people underestimate how a properly cleaned facility can help society as a whole. We can currently look at Covid-19 and how the first line of defense is in the hospitals.

Cleaning a healthcare facility is crucial when it comes to helping those who are sick get better faster.  A well trained janitorial staff is important in this process! Knowing how to properly damp wipe a surface, high dusting and proper disposal of linen is all important in more way than one. When it comes to the safety of healthcare workers and essential workers like janitorial staff, a well kept and maintained facility is key.

Healthcare facilities have to be maintained at a higher standard than other community facilities for the simple fact that if the places that are built to heal and help the community from viruses and other diseases, it will greatly cripple out society.  Breaking down how to properly dust mop and damp mop in a figure 8 motion is a great example of how small things can help prevent bigger problems.

It's not uncommon to hear that people get even more sick while being treated at a hospital. It's so common, actually, that we must consider the validity of such claims. As Medical Cleaning Professionals, it should be our aim to never be the cause for these occurrences. Our goal should be to eliminate or minimize this risk.

Patients go to their medical provider for care. They put their health and often times their lives, in their providers hands. The providers, in turn, depend on us, the cleaners, to properly protect them and their patients. To create an environment where the medical providers can be confident to work in and treat their patients. When we have healthcare facilities in our care, it's not an exaggeration to say that it can be the difference between life and death.

As professionals, we aim to capture airborne pathogens, eliminate cross-contamination and prevent the spread of bacteria, germs and viruses from one surface to another. It's a big ask, but when trained properly, we can implement the best technology and methods to ensure a healthy environment for any healthcare facility.
