Green cleaning certification

Cleaning products are an essential part of maintaining any home or workplace. However, many of the well-known household cleaners contain chemicals that can harm the environment. This is a main reason as to why a consumer’s choice upon choosing a cleaning product should rely on the safety of not only humans but the environment as well. 

For example, cleaning products that contain Volatile organic compounds can affect indoor air quality as well as contribute to the formation of smog in outdoor air. Simply changing to things such using vinegar and baking soda into your normal return can help out a bunch.

When using harmful chemical to clean with you are not only hurting yourself but you are hurting others, pets, and the earth. There are many ways that these chemicals can be harmful to you. Glass cleaners may contain Isopropyl alcohol which can irritate the skin, eyes, nose and throat, and ammonia which can irritate the skin and eyes and cause coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath. All-purpose cleaners can contain 2-butoxyethanol which can cause headaches, dizziness, lightheadedness and confusion, in addition to irritating the eyes, nose, throat and mouth. Then normal bathroom cleaners may contain Sodium hypochlorite/chlorine which can severely irritate the skin; may cause eye damage, coughing or shortness of breath. This is all isn’t even including the harmful toxic chemicals that a re released into the air when these products are used.

Green Products are the way to go for so many reason than one. By using more ecologically-friendly products, including green cleaning formulations and products, consumers may be able to reduce human health risks by reducing exposure to these and other harmful chemicals. It is helpful to the earth and can help you as an individual live a better healthy life. It can help put less smog into the air as well as having the recognition in the community for reducing resource usage and pollution. When using green products you have the satisfaction from helping to make the facility and community a better place.

In conclusion, as you can see today is the day to start protecting the earth and start using more all natural cleaning products which could be vinegar, baking soda, lemon oil, and so on. Replacing toxic products and adopting to the green cleaning procedure will benefit your health now and the earths health in the long run.
