As a citizen who is very concerned about our environment and focused on leaving a legacy, being green cleaning certified is very important to me. As I gain more knowledge of the molecular structure of chemicals, their impact on the human body and the environment, the more I am inclined to move away from that structure and migrate to green cleaning.

More importantly the damage to the environment is understated. Chemical runoff has reached the water table and is impacting our health. Harmful products are having a negative impact on the ozone layer. In order to secure our environment for future generations we need  a shift in mindset and a different modus operandi.We need to operate differently.

I have committed to change the way I think, use more green products and become green cleaning certified. Making this shift will allow me to make a contribution to my environment by moving away from the harsh chemicals and using green products as an alternative to traditional products. For example I can use green air freshening options and use green furniture polish. I can buy biodegradable products and participate in more recycling efforts.

These efforts though small, over time will impact the environment and help lower my carbon footprint. Overall this will help product a better world for my children and grandchildren and help to define my legacy.
