09 May 2020 6:44 PM | Deleted user

During a work environment every department has a unique roll in maintaining order.  Cleaning employees have the responsibility of maintaining the level of pathogens as low as possible to prevent work related exposure. Its our duty to use personal protection equipment and to dispose waste correctly to avoid accidents.

Blood borne pathogens are the primary source of health related accident with puncture material. The most common are Hepatitis B virus witch causes initially an acute liver inflammation in unvaccinated patients, that develops intro chronic inflammation that causes within years liver failure and can result in death without the proper treatment.

On the other hand we have HIV virus with its present in blood, and genital fluids, that causes severe immunodeficiency if not treated after several years. Its main symptoms are weight lost, fatigue, and opportunist infections.
