Harmful effects of everyday products V.S Green cleaning Products

24 Feb 2018 2:27 PM | Deleted user

The harmful effects of using everyday cleaning chemicals compared to using natural green products are far greater then just simply staying green. Most of our everyday cleaning products contains many hidden chemicals that can effect us in short terms as well as long terms.
Usage of household sprays and detergents are more commonly addressed due to the high consumption of this needed product. Most chemicals that are found in sprays and detergents in which we use almost daily have been linked to lung damage. Studies have found that people who use these household products are at greater risk of (COPD) chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, in which these conditions include chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Some studies even state that cleaning products are as bad for the lungs as smoking 20 cigarettes a day.
When compared to natural cleaning products, most of these toxic household items completely outweighs our more greener option. Mostly, natural cleaning products are active with ingredients that come from our planet. It will help with our respiratory  system as well as our environment. You can even eat some of the natural ingredients found in cleaning products such as lemon,  vinegar, and even Olive oil.
Going green is such a safer option. The health benefits of it is almost endless, from having a purer environment, better air quality, safer products, and less hazards. Also, it is even less expensive and who doesn't like to save money. Going green and using green household products is by far the best thing you can do.
We all have our vices, some are harder then others but practice create habits. So try and practice going green and using greener solutions, whether your doing it for yourself and/or the environment. It will save yours and other people lives.
