Ohio Mayor Shuts Down City Hall For Cleaning - Ebola Scare

17 Oct 2014 6:58 PM | IJCSA - (Administrator)

WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, Ohio undefined The mayor of a suburban Cleveland city put two workers on leave and ordered city hall closed for cleaning because of Ebola concerns.

The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer reports that Warrensville Heights Mayor Brad Sellers took the steps for Friday because the husband of one of the workers had a co-worker who was on the plane that carried a nurse later diagnosed with the virus.

And he said a separate worker "may have" been in contact with a family member of the nurse, Amber Vinson, who was diagnosed after flying from Cleveland to Dallas.

Sellers says he took the steps as a precaution because of the fear and rumors swirling around the situation. He said there was no reason to believe anyone at city hall was infected.
