On Monday, Superior Carpets on 14th Street was open for business. But the owners and employees were still cleaning up after 3 and a half inches of water flooded the 10,000 square foot building on Sunday.

"We had to take up all of our carpet and pad and the hardwoods we have installed in the showrooms" said owner Celeste Smith.

Smith said the damage will total over $100,000 but this is not the first time the store has flooded.

"We've been here for 26 years and we've never had this problem before last July 4th" said Smith.

The building is not in a flood zone so Smith and her husband didn't have flood insurance. They had to repair the building after it flooded last year and now they'll have to do it again.

"I don't know how long it will take us to get this done" said Smith.
