10 Protestors Arrested On Trespassing Charges During Janitorial Strike Talks

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Strike negotiations between a local janitorial union and business leaders broke down Wednesday morning and that led to protests and arrests.

The Service Employees International Union - Local 1 is currently on strike. Both sides had met for talks Wednesday morning at the Fifth Third Bank, located on State Street in Downtown Columbus.

Police said that talks about the janitorial strike broke down and prompted the police presence.

Ten people refused to leave the building and were arrested and charged with trespassing.
