Coulee Custom Cleaning plans to use our mold-related training to develop procedures for recognizing potential mold conditions and determining when a situation is appropriate for cleaning and when it should be referred to a qualified mold remediation professional. A responsible mold cleaning program begins with understanding that visible mold is often a sign of an underlying moisture problem. Our approach would emphasize identifying and communicating observed conditions, using appropriate personal protective equipment, controlling cross-contamination, selecting suitable cleaning methods for affected surfaces, and following established safety procedures. Just as importantly, employees would be trained to recognize situations that fall outside the scope of routine professional cleaning rather than attempting work that requires specialized mold assessment or remediation.

Having a mold cleaning program can benefit Coulee Custom Cleaning even when we are not performing full-scale mold remediation. Mold knowledge can help our employees recognize warning signs such as unusual growth, moisture damage, or conditions that may encourage mold development while performing residential and commercial cleaning. It can also improve how we respond to smaller, appropriate cleaning situations and how we communicate concerns to clients. By combining professional education with clearly defined limits, proper procedures, moisture awareness, and responsible referral practices, Coulee Custom Cleaning can better protect our employees, our clients, and the properties entrusted to our care while expanding our knowledge as a professional cleaning company.
