Janitors are important for many reasons! Janitors keep buildings and facilities safe for the public and workers. Paying close attention to detail and using proper procedures for cleaning, disinfecting, stocking, and performing repairs. IJCSA Janitors are trained to identify hazardous situations and correct and prevent future hazards.

Janitors maintain the appearance and safety of facilities and buildings. Keeping entrance ways clean and free of debris while checking for slipping hazards. Disposing of trash and recycling and dusting to keep areas clean and ready for use. Janitors frequently disinfect and monitor high traffic areas like bathrooms and cafeterias to prevent the spread of disease and illness. 

Also handling special request like bodily waste clean up. Janitors are trained to properly contain and clean up spills and other hazardous situations. Using proper PPE, and chemical Janitors understand how to protect themselves and others.

Basically Janitors prepare and maintain the building for its occupants and use extensive training to ensure proper disinfection and disposal of waste. Creating an environment that is ready to use and safe for its occupants.
