As a commercial cleaning company cleaning facilities like hospitals, and doctors offices, it is extremely important to know the importance of blood borne pathogens and how to make sure you do not get exposed to them. When cleaning these types of facilities or homes that have bodily fluids, it is important to understand that you take your PPE seriously so that you are not exposed. The way you dispose of all the contaminated pieces is crucial so that it gets disposed of properly. They must be going into a specific bag for hazardous waste and making sure you are not pushing down on the bag so the air of the pathogens gets in your face. 

The other important factor is how you clean the mess. Making sure your employees are not slapping around a cleaning cloth/rag and splashing it, and sanitizing after you have cleaned it.
