Bloodborne pathogens

It should be a priority to keep staff informed and aware of potential hazards in any situation especially when there are risks involved such as bloodborne pathogens.  Taking precautions should be a number 1 priority.

Employers are responsible for the safety of staff and making sure materials are handled correctly and disposed of properly. This effects everyones safety and keeps risk of exposure down to a minimum.

If Osha standard practices are implemented risk of exposure will be minimized.  If exposure does happen it is the employers responsibility to follow guidelines and keep records for 3 years .
