Selecting the best cleaning products to perform the most efficient job is key. There are many choices on the market, and it is beneficial to know the ingredients in each product so that you are making the best decisions. Some of these products not only cause harm to the environment, they can also cause personal harm.

Everyday cleaning chemicals are known to cause harm.  As reported by numerous reliable sources, there are potentially dangerous health effects from being exposed  to some household products. For instance, the common glass cleaner usually contains isopropyl alcohol.  This chemical is known to cause bodily harm, such as irritation to the skin, eyes, noses, and throat. Additionally, ammonia has an extremely strong order and it is known to cause irritation to the skin and eyes.  It can also cause coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath.

Chlorine is another household chemical .  It is used to create household bleach. Sadly, chlorine is ranked as a top chemical to cause injuries and deaths. As a precaution, products containing chlorine would be avoided and not used. They are extremely toxic and damaging for the environment.

On the other hand, green cleaning products are able to efficiently clean and are not harmful to the environment or to human life. Green cleaning products do not use “chemically-reactive and toxic cleaning products”.  By using green cleaning products, we are able to reduce health risks to life.
