    The Fastenal Company of Winona, MN (Nasdaq:FAST) reported its Board of Directors declared a dividend of $0.26 per share to be paid in cash on April 28, 2011 to shareholders of record at the close of business on April 12, 2011. The Company has paid semi-annual dividends since 2003 (with a third 'supplemental' dividend in both 2010 and 2008). The Company expects that it will begin paying a quarterly cash.

    PARKERSBURG - A historic cemetery was cleaned up Saturday with the help of some members of Boy Scout Troop 3.

    Cynthia Buskirk, a member of the Wood County Historic Landmarks Commission, said the cleanup at the Riverview Cemetery on Juliana Street concentrated on a section that is often neglected but visible from Murdoch Avenue and the neighboring First Presbyterian Church.

    "There is a grass cutting service, but they never cut here and it is the most visible part from the street and it's seen from the church," she said.

    The DEA recently announced the loss of funding for its program that paid to make the labs safe.

    The Missaukee County Sheriff says cleaning up a small lab can cost about two or three thousand dollars and cleaning larger labs can cost more than 10,000 dollars. Meth labs are very explosive and expensive to clean because of the dangerous chemicals used to make the drug.

    The days when spring cleaning rid households of dirt and soot from a winter of oil lamp and fireplace use may be gone, but the desire for a clean house remains. "I think people have a desire undefined especially in the Northern Hemisphere, because we have the increased light undefined to clean the windows, to want things to really shine," said Annie Bond, a green living expert. "The last thing they want to do is make their air dirtier than before."

    Inspired by the thought, Skerik, 40, returned to his home in San Rafael and made a list of ideas. One of them stood out. "I decided to start a maid/janitorial service," he said. "And I decided I would hire veterans."

    He named the company Eco-Vet, for its use of environmentally friendly cleaning products and those who would be wielding them. Skerik, who has struggled to find meaningful work since leaving the Army in 1992, realized he was excited about his prospects for the first time in a long while.

    The janitorial service is firing 240 undocumented workers who clean office buildings in the Twin Cities -- about half its local work force -- after Immigration and Customs Enforcement conducted a workplace audit, said Service Employees International Union Local 26, the union that represents the workers

    SPARTANBUR, S.C. -- After a three week investigation, Spartanburg County deputies arrested a cleaning woman and charged her with stealing from one of her clients, according to an incident report.

    Lisa Diane Hill, 47, of Wellford, was arrested on Saturday and charged with theft of property valued at between $2,000 and $10,000.

    Cleanliness standards at Inverclyde Royal Hospital need to improve, inspectors have warned.

    The verdict follows inspections which found that most areas of Inverclyde Royal Hospital were found to be clean but improvements were needed in the hospital’s intensive care unit.

    Inspectors have now called for a number of improvements following a visit to Greenock’s Inverclyde Royal Hospital.
