    Most of the Tennessee Titans likely wanted to forget every second of their visit to Pittsburgh. The team got beat up by the Steelers on Sunday, 38-17, and surely hurried through the airport without a look back. But for one rookie, a defensive back named Tommie Campbell, there was a good reason to sneak a glance around. Campbell spent a good deal of time at that airport during his college days, and not just because he played for a while at the University of Pittsburgh.

    Hand, foot, and mouth disease is most often spread by unwashed hands and contact with virus-contaminated surfaces, according to the Centers for Disease Control. Symptoms include fever, blister-like eruptions in the mouth and a rash, a CDC fact sheets states. The illness is often confused with foot-and-mouth disease, which afflicts cattle and other animals. The two diseases are not related.

    The mold has forced some students out of classrooms at the Unidos Dual Language Charter School, 4475 Hendrix Drive, and parents are happy to hear the problem is being dealt with however much it will cost. The $235,000 was the lowest bid received by the school district.

    “Health is the main issue, you know,” parent McArthur Evans told Channel 2.

    Crews working on a renovation and sound-proofing project found mold growing in the ceilings about six weeks ago. Officials walled off sections of the building, including five classrooms, and moved 100 students into portable trailers for the next few months.
